We have stayed in their little hotel rooms. Simple and enough comfort with satellite tv, little refrigerator and bathroom. Stream with fish 15 feet from back patio. We have spent the night in their little tent cabins. Cheap, and simple and comfortable. They raise brown trout and let you look at their bins that hold thousands of baby trout to full size trout that are released into the streams by fish and game. Their cafe is second to none. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Italian food for dinner is awesome and reasonable. We have stayed there 4 times and would stay there again anytime. It is not Hollywood hotels, but it is nice and usually sold out with happy campers. No complaints at all and the owners take your order for breakfast lunch and dinner. They care that you have a excellent stay...
Camp in Virginia Creek's old fashioned Camp Town. Relive the gold rush days in our unique units. These units have two double beds or one double and two single beds (may be bunk beds). These are very basic structures that you use the campground shower and restroom facility. We provide the bedding, towels and a small space heater to take the chill off. Your camping experience is not complete without and evening around your private campfire. Daily maid service is not included.
Standard room amenities are available in all rooms unless otherwise noted. Please note any requests in your reservation. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee requests until check-in. All services listed below are available at the hotel. Please note any special requests in your reservation or call the hotel to arrange prior to arrival.
What guests are saying:
I have now stayed at Virginia Creek Settlement on 3 different occasions. My husband and I stayed there during trips to Yosemite and while it's a little farther than staying in Lee Vining, what you get for the drive is worth it!
There are many different lodging options at Virginia Creek (motel, cabins, tent camp). Each time we have opted for a cabin and have not been disappointed. The cabins are clean, cute, and have the amenities we desire. The refrigerator and microwave were appreciated. Outside, a nice creek trickles past and there are gas fire rings/pits beside the cabins. Wi-fi is free and works well.
While this motel isn't "fancy" (and isn't meant to be), it's clean, comfortable, and affordable, with super-nice staff in a fun atmosphere. The onsite restaurant has enormous pizzas that you must try!
We will stay here again on our next trip to Yosemite.
